Future and Concept Vehicles

At Nissan, we are constantly innovating. We are pioneering the future of driving. Nissan's newest and best thinking will soon own the streets, trails, and tracks.

SHIFT_the way you move. It's the inspiration for everything we do: to shift your world and how you travel through it. For Nissan, it means rethinking the ordinary, pushing the boundaries, exceeding expectations, and anticipating the needs of an ever-changing planet.

Every Nissan vehicle is a result of this passionate mindset, yet with a practical side that reflects the times. Which means driving enjoyment rooted in the highest standard of engineering and quality. And fresh, modern design matched by manufacturing excellence. The same philosophy also drives our look to the future, through low emissions, better fuel economy and emerging role of all-electric vehicles. All dedicated to innovative solutions, for different - and better - ways to do things.

NISSAN NV2500 CONCEPT

One of the fastest growing business units in Nissan, Light Commercial Vehicles has a strong presence in Japan, Europe, China, Mexico, USA, South Africa, ASEAN and the Middle East regions. LCV now covers over 73 percent of the markets globally and has made significant investments in areas like clean propulsion research.

Introducing the Nissan NV2500, a "mobile, on-site construction office," the NV2500 Concept is designed to make the user more efficient and productive in their workday applications. A computer workstation, walk-through interior and an awning style side panel are just some of this concept vehicle's unique features.

The NV2500 Concept's exterior design is highlighted by a wide grille, stepped roofline, unique window treatments, lower-door glass cutouts, and an oversize, fixed-glass roof panel. The roof panel includes an integrated solar panel to power interior equipment, lights and accessories.

NISSAN LEAF

Nissan is dedicated to the future of electric cars and zero emissions. That's why we're building the Nissan Leaf. It's part of our vision for cleaner transportation, and a cleaner world. The Nissan Leaf will have a range of 100 miles per charge under average, everyday driving conditions. The battery will charge in 4-8 hours on a 220V home charging unit. At quick-charge stations, it will charge to 80% in about 26 minutes.
